People Wake Up!

If you’re in an “I don’t really care” mood, then I have you right now. I don’t have it all figured out. That’s why we are both here. It’s easily said then done...


Why do we have to be the ones scared to death to walk down the street after dark? Why do we have to be the nice people who don’t carry around protection but in the end the one prepared is the one killing the innocent. It becomes a “what if” scenario. Every time we turn on that television it becomes our city blasted all over the world for everyone to see. It doesn’t have to be like that. Why not invest in more security cameras, better lighting for the night time, or have more patrol cars in every area. There is no worst area than the next. Violence and Murderers are at an all time high right now. People blame the economy but it’s been happening right in front of our faces for years! I think a lot of people just feel they have to accept how things are and sit with their heads down trying not to be seen and picked next. It’s sad. Now you can’t even wear a certain color in the wrong area, you can’t look at a person without being confronted, and you can’t ever let your guard down when you’re away from your home or car. No one takes this seriously until it becomes personal or it happens to them. Read more!

East Jesus Nowhere

Green Day's new album is coming out may15th, they'll be hittin houston up august 30th...

i know i've always loved this band since i was like15.. but...
now i've gotten over them. this song i posted is off the new album. It's called East Jesus Nowhere, i haven't heard it or their new single out now, but man i think it's getting freakin old to go with another theatrical concept album...when the concept is follow us. We're soldiers or we're leaders... or blah blah blah..why not just say .."come on kids we want your money" thats all they write music for now... not like they used to. It used to be about making music kids loved...now it's like a freaking cult.

anyways...my whole point was if you read these lyrics to this song east jesus nowhere...it's gone to far to me. Why make a song testin ppl's faith or puttin god and questions and white and black in a song??!! it's irritating to read this without being disturbed.

almost the weekend...

we got a gig at fitz this friday... last minute shows are the best.

met pete wentz after all the wait to find out the show was cancelled...ok heres a play by play.... (keep reading!!!)

so we find out the show is postponed...

we decide to stick around hangin out stalking the tour buses until we see them leave or what not. saw all time low for a quick second then they left.

met some people who tried to sneak back through the mud to see if they could catch a glimpse of anyone...nothing.

then people are gettin twitter updates about pete coming to find us.

with my son in my arms. me and the wifey see him! we run run run run...lol

and finally see him! there are a ton of girls trying to take pics with him but he see's us i guess and says...
"you guys first, with the little guy...come here"

omg! wow... he tries talking to my son but he was shy'd up...lol

i was speechless and just honored that he noticed us in the cold wet rain just wanting a picture...

i know it's a weird funny pic...lol. my son isn't lookin, i was taller than him and up on a curb so i was in an odd stance and my wife was drench'd smiling ear to ear...but it was all worth it!

over the weekend went to the fallout boy show only to find out it was cancelled!

pete owes me 20 bucks of gas + the dang toll...haha

anyways. saw hey monday, gabe saporta, and pete wentz at rich's nightclub.

enjoyed the weirdness of tx weather sunday morning.

looked like it hadn't just flooded everywhere! the perfect sunshine of a sunday.

enjoyed the greatness of casa ole'

rested all day.
